Today is the first day of work together with Mengzhen. We were entrusted to the job of being the track assistant. Mainly, we have to take note of the placing of the competitors at the finishing line. Sounds easy isn't it? But then when there are a bunch of people running in at almost the same time, we will really need to focus on the ending point to determine the placing. It is mentally stressing us! However, compared to the rest of the people, we get to sit under a tent and just use our eyes to do the job. Most had more physical jobs like standing throughout the day or to help out with javelin and long jump events. By the end of the day most of them are baked already ! Sucks that i wasn't thou ! But then again if i was, i would have had an uneven tan ! Which, i soooo don't want.
Anyways work was fairly good, if not a little tiring. At least it would be so much better than to do admin work which spells B-O-R-I-N-G. Hopefully I make it thru the next week! =D
